Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy


Policy Updated 22/12/2023 this supersedes any previous published version. 


For NON members when booking your first appointment, we require full payment to secure your booking. 50% of that fee is a booking fee which is NON-REFUNDABLE. this is to help us prevent ghost bookings, no shows and non-payment for late cancellations. A minimum of 4 weeks hair growth is required.


*Please Note: a non-refundable booking fee is NOT a deposit, so please be mindful of this before you choose to book*


For members you can now book with NO booking fee to allow you to schedule your appointments and be more organised with your routine. You can book up to 9 months ahead.


You will be sent a reminder via email and SMS 1 week before your appointment where you will need to pay the remaining balance and confirm your attendance. You will not be able to move your appointment within this 7-day period... you will need to cancel and rebook for another time instead. this will hopefully eliminate the last-minute moves or cancellations and allow me enough time to fill the appointment slot.


If you are a cash paying client, you will need to pay in full for 2 appointments upfront so a credit can be held on your account to cover the next appointment and so the booking policy can be enforced. Please select the pay later option when booking online. (This is ONLY for previous cash paying clients). 



Booking Policy:


You are able once your booking is confirmed to cancel your booking at any point (this can be done by logging into the My Account section via https://bikiniwaxshack.book.app/customer/login or via bikiniwaxshack.com) or using the manage appointment link provided in your reminder email/text.


If you cancel your booking slot within 3-5 days of your appointment (with 5 being the 5th day preceding your appointment date and time) then 50% of the paid balance will be retained for the treatment(s) booked and the remaining 50% will be added as a credit to your account to use on future bookings. IF the cancellation is within 48 hours (Day 4-5) 100% will be retained and you will need to book and pay in full for a new appointment.


If you fail to show for a booking, then the full payment will be retained for the treatment(s) booked.



Illness - Your Conditions: (Please remember I am self-employed... I do not receive sick pay if I am ill)


• I agree to follow all safety regulations and additional screening Bikini Wax Shack requires (i.e. hand sanitiser, handwashing, masks etc).


• Do not come to your appointment visibly sick, or with a cold or flu, you will also be refused service. 


• Starting your period is NOT a reason to cancel your booking. I can wax you just the same and it does not affect your treatment. If you would rather not be waxed during this time you can of course cancel your booking but full payment for the slot will be required and you will need to book and pay for a new appointment.


• By agreeing, I have read and understand all the above stipulations. I will comply with any safety measures asked of by Bikini Wax Shack


Illness - Bikini Wax Shack – Our Commitment:


If I feel ill or test positive for Covid-19, I will not perform any treatments. This may mean that I will have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient, but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled by me, you will be able to re-book again. Any booking fee or full payment will be moved to a future date, a credit on your account or refunded in full.
